Patricia Ann Holste Omaha, Nebraska Obituary

Patricia Ann Holste

Patricia was born in Pisgah, Iowa to Ivan Oliver and Marie Hall in 1943.Patricia grew up learning in a one room country school, stepping out in independence at the age of fifteen securing her own place and a job as a waitress. Later Patricia was married and blessed with two daughters. On her own once again, she continued to work other jobs to provide for her daughters and herself. Patricia had artistic creativity that could not be denied; she learned to use that talent to create a career that she enjoyed. In 1987 she found her husband Eric who shared in her artistic talent and supported her in all that she did. Using her artistry, she thrived as a seamstress, as an entrepreneur (creating and patenting a neck support pillow), and as an embroiderer. Later her creativity inspired her to take computer courses in digital art, where she excelled in digitizing-embroidery. Her artistic gift also bloomed into beautiful artwork, that she was always eager to share with her family and friends. Patricia remained positive through every obstacle in life and always kept the Lord close to her; looking to Him in all things. She was an encouragement and an example to those around her; always brightening your day with her funny expressions; and creating unforgettable moments of joyous laughter.Patricia overwhelmed us with her genuine heart, her kindness, her smile, her laugh, her patience, her love for God, and her love for her family and friends... We were all blessed to know her from the beauty and grace that she left in this world. She will always forever be in our hearts. She passed away Saturday, July 6, 2019 in Omaha, Nebraska. I was sorry to learn about Pat. She was a neat lady. And at one time we were good friends. The past few years we had lost touch. My prayers and thoughts go out to Vicky, Cindy, Eric and family.
