LaVerna Mary Bertha Morrissey, age 96, the daughter of Fred and Lydia (Schultz) Mussman, was born August 10, 1921 in Deshler, Nebraska. She passed away October 28, 2017 in Omaha, Nebraska.LaVerna was preceded in death by her husband Willard C. Morrissey; one sister; and two brothers. She is survived by her son, Dennis (Sharlene) Morrissey; and daughters, Diane (Gary) Wane and Denise (Paul) Shirley; grandchildren, Lisa, Mark, Kristin, Christopher, and Robyn; and great grandchildren, Carly, Hadley, MaKenna, and Teegan.Memorials suggested to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, American Cancer Society, or Nebraska Children's Home Society.
