James Edward Poorker Sr.

James "Jimmy" Poorker Sr., age 55, passed away on August 11, 2016, in Omaha, NE.Jimmy was born on March 24, 1961 in Omaha, NE, to parents Beverly and James Poorker. Jimmy was a great family man and a loving father. He married Jeanette on March 24, 1998 and the couple raised 3 children together.Jimmy was a social, active man who was very involved in helping others in any way he could for the majority of his life. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his grand-kids. His family and friends will always remember him as a loving, caring, kindhearted person.Jimmy is survived by his wife, Jeanette; his mother Beverly: his children, Tad, James Jr. (Claire) and Jessica (Cameron); and his grandchildren, Tyler, Tallon, Michael, James III, Tad, Kathy, and Devon. He is also survived by his sisters Kim and Roxanne, and brother Randy. He is preceded in death by his father James and brother George.
