Larry Allan McDevitt, age 75, son of Floyd and Wilma (Sohm) McDevitt, was born on August 6, 1946 in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away on August 22, 2021 in Omaha, Nebraska.Larry was a proud Vietnam Veteran. "Black Lions Sir". He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Wilma (Sohm) McDevitt; sister and brother in law, Margene (Paul) Grotz; daughter, Lisa A. McDevitt; and niece, Kim (Grotz) Folts.He is survived and will be missed by his wife, Renate (Walter) McDevitt; sons, John M. and Douglas R. (Kristi) McDevitt; granddaughter, Lauren; brother, Gordon (Julie) McDevitt; many cousins, nieces and nephew.Private graveside service with full military honors rendered by the United States Army and American Legion Post #1. Burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
