Frank Harris Jr.

Frank Harris Jr. was born December 23, 1923, the sixth of seven children. He was the first son of Frank Harris Sr. and Estelle Mills Harris of Brewton, Alabama. His family later moved to Omaha, Nebraska. After his mother's death, as a young child, he lived with his grandparents, Reverend James and Mary Mills. He attended Long Elementary School, Webster Middle School and Technical High School until the tenth grade, afterwards he enlisted in the United States Navy.In 1946 he was united in marriage to Patricia Davis. From this union two children were born, Frank Archie Harris and Gloria Jean Harris.Frank held several part-time positions before becoming a full-time employee of Kolley Medical Supply Company. After his retirement he enjoyed being with family and friends and taking pictures as a hobby.He is preceded in death by his parents; four sisters; one brother; and his only son, Frank Archie Harris; companion of 40 years, Juanita Anderson.Frank leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted daughter, Gloria Jean Harris; grandson, Darin Wright (Brenda) of Sioux City, Iowa; granddaughter, Samantha Allul (Alale) of Frisco, Texas; five great-granddaughters, Taeylr, Kaelyn, Jaemee, Alivia, and Savanna; two great-grandsons, Jordan and Gavin.
