Danny Rae Lohmeier, age 69, the son of Raymond and Agatha (Strangl) Lohmeier, was born July 22, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away July 27, 2016 in Omaha, Nebraska.Dan passed away peacefully in home surrounded by his family after a year long battle with ALS. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Agatha (Stangl) Lohmeier. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; sons, Daniel (Lyda), Jeffrey (Maureen); daughter, Kimberly Novak (Maciej); step-daughters, Christine, Cheryl and Cara Connors; brother, Gerald (Cindy); sister, Carol Blanchard (Robert); eight grandchildren, Willow, Kansas, Reid, Brooks, Leo, Grant, Trey, Luke and a new arrival expected in September of 2016.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. James in Dan's name.
