Roger Dale Mikulecky, age 66, the son of Raymond Cecil and Helen Josephine (Soukup) Mikulecky, was born September 17, 1951 in Wilson, Kansas. He passed away October 5, 2017 in Omaha, Nebraska.Roger worked in food service management for over 27 years throughout the Midwest. He worked for such organizations as Iowa Beef Producers, Inc., Northern States Beef, Conagra Foods and also worked as a consultant in the industry. Roger really found a calling to the meat processing industry and thoroughly enjoyed his work. After many years in various maintenance positions in the industry, Roger had to reluctantly retire due to health reasons. His last maintenance position was at Ambassador Health.Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Helen Mikulecky and sister, Alice Mikulecky. He is survived by his beautiful and loving wife of 26 years, LaRae Moss-Mikulecky; beautiful step-daughters, Maurin Lee Subbert and Erin Kay Subbert all of Omaha, Nebraska; wonderful son, Shannon Lee Mikulecky of Arizona; three wonderful daughters, Shana Leighann Randolph of Omaha, Nebraska, Stephanie Marie Mikulecky of Cairo, Egypt and Mary Elizabeth Mikulecky of Cincinnati, Iowa; eight beautiful grandchildren; sister, Linda Mikulecky-Stanford and her husband John of Towanda, Kansas; brother, Gary Lee Mikulecky of Wichita, Kansas.Memorial contributions are requested to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
