Andrew J. Strickland Jr. was born September 18, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois to the union of Andrew Sr. and Lillie Strickland.The family moved to Omaha in 1966 where Andrew attended Sacred Heart and Saint Richard Grade school. He graduated from Roncalli Catholic High School and later attended Creighton University and University of Nebraska of Omaha.Andrew was united in holy matrimony to Andrea Washington on May 25, 1985. To this union, Asheigh Joi Strickland was born.Andrew had worked for First National Bank, Jobosh Automotive and Millard Lumber Company. In his free time, he enjoyed playing football and basketball and if he wasn't playing sports, he enjoyed watching them. Andrew also enjoyed listening to music.He was preceded in death by his father, Andrew Strickland Sr. and his wife, Andrea Strickland. Andrew leaves to mourn his mother, Lillie Strickland-Day; daughter, Ashleigh Strickland-Calhoun and her husband Marcus; granddaughter, Ava Elaine Calhoun; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
