Annie is the third daughter of Mercedes Caldwell and William Brewster Loring, both of Omaha. She graduated from Benson High School and William Woods College and held masters degrees in History and French and taught both subjects with passion and creativity at Duchesne Academy (Omaha), Louisville High School (Los Angeles), St. Albert's (Council Bluffs). She was President of the Omaha Chapter of Alliance Francaise, and enjoyed worldwide travel all her life.Annie is survived by her devoted partner Francis O. Halpine and loving daughter Dolan Elizabeth Peters, both of Omaha; and her siblings Libby Dufford, Mary Loring and Bruce Loring.We will celebrate Annie - her kindness, courage, intelligence and wit - at a remembrance onThursday September 28 from 6:00-8:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral HomeCelebration of Life Services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, September 29 at Trinity Cathedral (113 N. 18th Street). Inurnment at Forest Lawn Cemetery 12pm on Friday.
