Ruby McCarthy

Preceding her in death were her parents, Ethel Franklin-Marin and Felands Marion, Sr.; biological father, Cody Franklin, Sr.; along with her soul mate and husband, Eugene McCarthy; four siblings, Roy, Margaret, Johnny and Kay; grandchild, Julius Lucas. Ruby is survived by her two children, Eric (Robbie) Lemon and Patricia (Harold) Ellis; two uncles, Freeman Marion and Sammy Kay Marion; brothers and sisters, Ruth Henderson, Bertha (Darren), Doris (Larry) Madlock, Felands (Paula) Marion all of Omaha; grandchildren, Samara Lemon, Finis Lemon; great-grandchildren; adopted daughter, Hattie Henderson and god-daughter, Paula Butler; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews; many loved cousins, friends and family. SERVICES 9:00am, Staturday, St. Mark Baptist Church (3616 Spaulding St.). Visitation with the family one hour prior to services. Burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorial suggested to American Cancer Society or CHI Hospice.
