Nellie Beatrice Adams, age 94, the daughter of George and Amanda (Stansfield) Shobe, was born July 17, 1924 in Lovejoy, Illinois. She passed away May 13, 2019 in Omaha, Nebraska.Nellie is survived by her children: Catherine Shields, Mary Adams-Wanka (Gabe), Elizabeth Cross, Raphael Adams, Narrissa Neal (Derek), Alfred Rogers, Cheyama Adams, Kennedy Rogers; siblings: Earlene Jefferson, Shan Shobe; and a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded by children: Clarence Lee Tyler and Floyd Richard Adams.Funeral Service will be Friday, May 24, 2019 at Salem Baptist Church (3131 Lake Street).
