Earlene confessed a hope in Christ at an early age with Antioch Baptist Church in Love joy, Ill. In the year 1951 Earlene relocated to Omaha, Nebraska and became a member of Morning Star Baptist Church. In her latter years Earlene became a member of Freedom Worship Center. Earlene continued her education by attending Metro Tech Community College where she studied in the field of Business Administration and graduated as a Legal Secretary. Earlene was employed at Douglas County Hospital in the Staff Development Department as a secretary until retirement. Earlene is preceded in death by her Father; George, Mother; Amanda, Brothers; George, Robert, Johnny, Abraham (Lump), Clarence, Joseph, David and Harold Shobe, Sisters: Nellie Adams, Catherine Johnson, Cleo Walls, Edith Brewer, Amanda, Leatha Ann, and Cheney Shobe, Sons: Dexter Sylvester and Francis Marion Jefferson Jr.(Bugs orJ.J.), Daughter: Constance Evada Jefferson, Grandchildren: Tyler Hickerson and Tony Ray Roberson Jr., Great-grandchild; Jasmine Harris, Sister-in-law; Mildred Powell. Earlene leaves to mourn: Sons; Harlan V Jefferson (Zandra) of Moreno Valley, Ca, Berwyn S. Jefferson and Perry Jefferson of Omaha, Ne. Daughters: Dawana C Shobe, Rochele R. Birdine (Kevin) and Nyda Y. Jefferson-Brown of Omaha, Ne. Sister-in-law: Shan Shobe of Omaha, Ne, 17 Grandchildren, 37 Great-grandchildren and 10 Great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
