He passed away on February 5, 2021 in Omaha, Nebraska.James was a member of the International Union of Bricklayers for 64 years. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Marilyn Patterson; parents, Frank and Myrtle Patterson; and brother, Frank Patterson. He is survived and will be missed by his children: James (Carol) Patterson Jr., Michael Patterson, Karen (Mervyn) Singh, Steven Patterson; grandchildren: Laura (Josh) Needelman, Amy (Andy) Beagle, Paul Rathbun, Mark Rathbun; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, John Patterson and Bruce (Julie) Patterson; and many other family and friends.SERVICES 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
