<p>On March 10, 2023, Thomas James Piscitelli, age 81&nbsp;passed away.&nbsp; He is the beloved husband of 31 years to Kathlyn Joy Piscitelli (nee Fritsch).&nbsp;He was the loving son of the late D. Thomas Piscitelli and wife Helen (nee Shirilla) of Ellwood City, Pa.&nbsp;; devoted father of Christopher T. Piscitelli&nbsp;and Denise R. Wilhelm;&nbsp; stepfather of Everett A. Strimple, Jr. and his wife Heather, and Duane C. Strimple and his wife Sharon;&nbsp; cherished grandfather of Brandon, Matthew, Meghan, Erica, Austin, Bradley, Zachary, Taylor, Erin, and Makenna;&nbsp; great grandfather of Aleena, Joel, Scarlet, Asher, Indy, and Emily.&nbsp;<br> <br> Mr. Piscitelli had a long career of 35 years with the Baltimore City Department of Social Services.&nbsp; Tom was an avid gardener and enjoyed sharing his bounty with family, friends, and neighbors.&nbsp; He also had a lifelong passion for collecting rocks, minerals, and fossils from all over the United States and abroad.&nbsp; He donated most of his collection to the Natural History Society of Maryland in Overlea.<br> <br> Family and friends will honor and celebrate Tom’s life at the family-owned Evans Life Celebration Home - 8800 Harford Road, Parkville, MD 21234 on Sunday, March 19, 2023&nbsp;from 2-4 PM and&nbsp;6-8 PM.&nbsp; A funeral service will be held at Evans Parkville&nbsp;on Monday, March 20, 2023&nbsp;at 10:00 AM.&nbsp; Interment - Moreland Memorial Park. </p>

On March 10, 2023, Thomas James Piscitelli, age 81 passed away.  He is the beloved husband of 31 years to Kathlyn Joy Piscitelli (nee Fritsch). He was the loving son of the late D. Thomas Piscitelli and wife Helen (nee Shirilla) of Ellwood City, Pa. ; devoted father of Christopher T. Piscitelli and Denise R. Wilhelm;  stepfather of Everett A. Strimple, Jr. and his wife Heather, and Duane C. Strimple and his wife Sharon;  cherished grandfather of Brandon, Matthew, Meghan, Erica, Austin, Bradley, Zachary, Taylor, Erin, and Makenna;  great grandfather of Aleena, Joel, Scarlet, Asher, Indy, and Emily. 

Mr. Piscitelli had a long career of 35 years with the Baltimore City Department of Social Services.  Tom was an avid gardener and enjoyed sharing his bounty with family, friends, and neighbors.  He also had a lifelong passion for collecting rocks, minerals, and fossils from all over the United States and abroad.  He donated most of his collection to the Natural History Society of Maryland in Overlea.

Family and friends will honor and celebrate Tom’s life at the family-owned Evans Life Celebration Home - 8800 Harford Road, Parkville, MD 21234 on Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.  A funeral service will be held at Evans Parkville on Monday, March 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM.  Interment - Moreland Memorial Park.
