Edward "Chip" Sulier

<p>Edward “Chip” Sulier, Jr. 70, of Temperance, Michigan, passed away, Saturday, March 11, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Chip was born on August 26, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio and was the son of Edward J. and Rosemary (Badger) Sulier, Sr. He was a 1970 graduate of Erie Mason Consolidated Schools. Chip married Sandy K. Grems in St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church in Toledo. Chip began his career of 31 years with Toledo Public Schools as an electrician and retired as the Director of Building and Maintenance in 2008. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Erie, V.F.W., 3925 Auxiliary in Erie, Outings Unlimited Club, AFSCME, Local 272, where he served as president for 11 years and the Riverview Yacht Club. He enjoyed boating, golfing and just living life to the fullest. </p><p>Chip is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sandy; children, Jackie (Andrew) Cousino and Jim (Valerie) Sulier; brothers, Donald (Pam) Sulier, Red (Linda) Sulier and Colonel Robert (Jean) Sulier; sisters, Patty Sulier and Cheryl Sulier; grandchildren, Austin, Cole, and Kelsie. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Raymond Sulier and sister, Anita Fuelling. </p><p>Visitation will be from 3-8 pm, Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI. Funeral services will start at 10:00 am, Thursday, March 16, 2023 at the funeral home with Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2214 Manhattan Street, Erie, MI. We are so sorry to hear of Chip's passing. Just saw a snippet in the Blade today,Thursday. Pulled it up on here and realized the funeral/memorial was yesterday. Our hearts go out to Sandy and family. He is gone too soon. He will be forever in our memory.
