<p>Edward E. Jones </p><p> </p><p>WOODRUFF- Edward Earl Jones, 89, of 469 West Georgia Street went home to be with the Lord, Friday, March 10, 2023, at Regional Hospice Home. </p><p> He was born October 23, 1933, in Mauldin, S.C. to the late Clifton Earl and Elma Garrett Jones. He was a retired General Manager with John D. Hollingsworth, a U.S. Army Veteran and was a member of Selma Baptist Church. He was first married to the late Norma Calvert Jones. </p><p> Surviving is his wife, Barbara Jones Jones of the home; two daughters, Donna Southern of Simpsonville and Kristy Sutton of Tennessee; two sons, Steve Jones of Tennessee and Tony Jones of Greenville; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. </p><p> Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Baptist Church by Rev. Fred Quidley and Rev. Robert Cato. Interment will follow at Simpsonville City Cemetery. </p><p> Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary. </p><p> The family is at the residence, 469 West Georgia Street, Woodruff. </p><p> Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary </p><p> </p>October 23, 1933 - March 10, 202310/23/193303/10/2023
