Edward E. Jones

WOODRUFF- Edward Earl Jones, 89, of 469 West Georgia Street went home to be with the Lord, Friday, March 10, 2023, at Regional Hospice Home.

  He was born October 23, 1933, in Mauldin, S.C. to the late Clifton Earl and Elma Garrett Jones.  He was a retired General Manager with John D. Hollingsworth, a U.S. Army Veteran and was a member of Selma Baptist Church.  He was first married to the late Norma Calvert Jones.

  Surviving is his wife, Barbara Jones Jones of the home; two daughters, Donna Southern of Simpsonville and Kristy Sutton of Tennessee; two sons, Steve Jones of Tennessee and Tony Jones of Greenville; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. 

  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Selma Baptist Church by Rev. Fred Quidley and Rev. Robert Cato.  Interment will follow at Simpsonville City Cemetery.

  Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

  The family is at the residence, 469 West Georgia Street, Woodruff.
