Diane M. Saarela, a resident of Commerce Twp., MI passed away suddenly in the early afternoon hours of Friday, March 10, 2023. She was 71 years old.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald J. Saarela; her son, Nicholas (Celeste Gonzales); her granddaughter, Vivian Saarela; her sisters, Elaine Eldred and Teresa (Dave) Heasty as well as close friends and extended family members.

Diane was preceded in death by her son, Aaron John Saarela (d. 2015) and her parents, Robert and Doris Mulanix.

Visitation will take place at Lynch & Sons Funeral Home, 404 E. Liberty St.,, Milford 48381 on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 11:00AM - 1:00PM.

Funeral services from Lynch and Sons, 404 E. Liberty St., Milford, MI 48381 on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 beginning at 1:00PM. Burial to follow in Milford Memorial Cemetery.
