<p>Arthur Claude “Buzz” Barr Jr. age 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 9, 2023. Born March 14th, 1947, to parents Arthur C. Barr Sr. and Mary Kay Barr.</p><p><br></p><p>Survived by his loving children, Heather Barr, Jealithe Barr, and Kevin (Krysten O’Connell) Barr; cherished grandfather to, Haley Barr, Madison Barr, Magnolia Green, Willow Barr, Aurora Barr, Austin Riha, Charlotte Riha, and Jackson Riha; beloved brothers, Richard (Jean) Barr, Michael (Ellen) Barr, Robert Barr; nieces, Natalie, and Jessica Barr.</p><p><br></p><p>Preceded in death by his son, Jamie “Woody” Barr; granddaughter, Payton Eeten; parents, Arthur C. Barr Sr., and Mary Kay Barr; brother, David Barr.</p><p><br></p><p>Buzz was a celebrated member of the community, having spent decades as a Scoutmaster in Troops 18 and 28 with The Boy Scouts of America. He, like his father before him, was the recipient of countless honors and awards, including the prestigious Silver Beaver award, which is the highest recognition a local council can bestow upon a volunteer leader. Art had recently retired from Akzo Nobel Chemicals after 45+ years working as a senior analyst.
