Margaret (Mickey) Holder (née Leusner) age 93, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2023 in Media, Pa.

Predeceased by her husband, Frank Holder and son John Holder. Loving mother of Karin Holder, Frank (Kathleen) Holder, Judy (Jonathan) Gifford, and Kurt Holder. Devoted grandmother to eight grandchildren: Paul (Amy), Erika (Justin), Marie (Greg), Ann (Luis), John (Vanessa), Frank (Rachel), Timothy and Luke.

Beloved great grandmother (GG) to ten great grandchildren: Lyla, Sophia, Madeline, Mark, Michael, Samuel, Griffin, Cecilia, Charlotte, and Calvin. She is also survived by her brother Josef (Sylvia) Leusner and her sister-in-law Jeanne Leusner and brother-in-law Henry Dabrowski. She was predeceased by her father and mother Clarence and Grace Leusner and brothers Clarence, David, Robert, Armand, Bruce, Winthrop Leusner and sisters Grace Teschko and Carol Dabrowski and sister-in-law Rosemary Protto. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Mickey was born in Camden, NJ and was a lifelong resident of Collingdale, PA and then moved to Lima Estates with her husband Frank in 1999. Mickey described herself as a friendly introvert. She enjoyed driving to see her family and friends most of whom lived in New Jersey and she also loved to read, write, and travel. Mickey had a contagious laugh and could tell a great story. Everyone who knew her had a kind word or a funny story to tell about her. Mickey will be immeasurably missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral on Wednesday, March 15th 10am at St. Mary Magdalen Church 2400 N. Providence Road, Media. Viewing from 10am to 11am and funeral mass will be held at 11am. Interment will be at SS Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mickey’s name can be made to Lima Residents Association at 411 N Middletown Road, Media PA 19063. This will benefit the many aides and other hourly workers who cared for Mickey with kindness and compassion.
