It is with great sadness that the families of the late Josephine Elizabeth Jacobs (Nee Hustins) announce her passing at her home in Springdale on March 8, 2023 at the age of 78. Josephine was a member of the Salvation Army. She retired from the Green Bay School Board where she worked with special needs children; she was involved in the Association for Community Living as well as being a member of the Kinsmen Club and the Legion.

Josephine was predeceased by her son Brian; her parents James & Tassie Hustins; sisters Edna, Lulu, Linda and Joy and brothers-in-law Cyril, Bruce and LeRoy.

Leaving with fond and loving memories are her partner of 40 years, Ronald Furlong; her daughters Roxanne (Norman) of Springdale, NL; Brenda (Perry) of Springdale, NL; Yvette (Dean) of Deer Lake, NL, Tammy (Terrence) of Springdale, NL and Jennifer (Tim) of Mission, BC

Josephine also leaves to mourn her sisters, Madeline, Georgina, Sheila; brothers, Neil (Helen), Eugene (Pauline), Jerome (Marie) and Cameron; Grandchildren: Stephen, Kala, Jake, Travis, Samantha, Jesse, Marcus, Nikita; 9 great-grandchildren and Special friend, Joy.

Major Randell will conduct the funeral service at Springdale Central Funeral Home on Saturday, March 11, 2023 with interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery. Pallbearers are Neil Hustins, Eugene Hustins, Jerome Hustins, Ron Bowers, Eddie Reid and Lindsey Tizzard.
