George Matthew Moscony Obituary

George Matthew Moscony, age 20, of Havertown, PA passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 5, 2023.




He was born in Wynnewood, PA on October 16, 2002, the son of George A. Moscony and Dina Joy (Gregori) Moscony.




George was a talented student athlete at Haverford High School and played football throughout his 4 years there. He graduated in 2021 and was currently a student at Temple University. He enjoyed playing guitar and spending time with his friends and family.




He is survived by his parents, George and Dina Moscony; two sisters, Nicole Moscony and Allison Moscony; grandmother, Kathleen Gregori; aunts and uncles, Kathleen & Craig Lewis, Michael Moscony, Michael & Jill Gregori and Jeffrey & Janene Gregori; and cousins, Nicholas & Alyssa Gregori, Daniel Gregori, Samantha Gregori, Sarah Gregori, Katie Lewis and Jake Lewis.




He was preceded in death by grandparents, George A. & Matilda "Tillie" Moscony and Bartolo Gregori.




Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday evening, March 8, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Donohue Funeral Home of Upper Darby, 8401 West Chester Pike, Upper Darby, PA 19082 and in Church on Thursday morning, March 9, from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at Sacred Heart Church of Manoa, 105 Wilson Ave., Havertown, PA 19083, where his Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM with Rev. Henry J. McKee as Celebrant.




Interment will take place in SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
