ERICKSON, Jon Allen

April 7, 1955 ~ February 26, 2023

Jon passed away peacefully at Hospice Peterborough. Cherished husband of Berenice Ruhl. Beloved father to Matthew Erickson, Andrew Erickson, Lily Ruhl-Stote and Rose Ruhl-Stote. Brother to Stuart and Maree Erickson. Son of the late Lloyd and Marilyn Erickson. Jon will be missed by his devoted canine companion Sunni.

Jon enjoyed a 50-year career in the music industry as a sound engineer, tour manager, and owner of a business that supplied sound equipment to touring bands. Among the performers who benefitted from his considerable skills were Max Webster, Rush, The Tragically Hip and Bruce Cockburn.

Jon will be fondly remembered by his colleagues and friends, especially the many he helped and mentored over the years.
