Norman B. Stanley Obituary

Norman B. Stanley, 65, of Milford passed away Friday February 17, 2023 at home with his family by his side. He was the husband of Lynne M. (Bauguess) Stanley.


Mr. Stanley possessed a strong work ethic and was employed for 35 years at Ken’s Foods in Marlboro. He also worked evenings for many years at Gasco service station in Milford.


He was born in Framingham in 1958 and was the son of the late Norman B. Stanley, Sr. and Vera L. (Rigney) Stanley.


A resident of Milford for over 30 years, he had previously lived in Hopedale and enjoyed watching the New England Patriots, winning a hand of Rummy around the card table and playing the right numbers. He loved his grandchildren dearly and enjoyed time spent with them and watching them play sports.


In addition to his wife Lynne of 45 years, he is survived by his children, Laurie Stanley and her significant other Mark Marcotte of Milford, Paul M. Stanley and his wife Cathy, and Catherine Sunkett and her husband Jarran all of Uxbridge; 3 siblings Naomi, Charles, and Thomas; and 5 grandchildren, Cameron, Gabby, Noah, Jack and Jalen.


Visiting hours will be Tuesday February 21, 2023 from 4 – 7 PM in the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress Street, Milford.


Funeral services will be Wednesday February 22, 2023 at 10 AM in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Hopedale Village Cemetery, Hopedale.
