Annette Pat Jahnke, 92, of Marshalltown, formerly of Tomahawk, Wisconsin, passed from this earthly life on the morning of Friday, December 11th, 2015, at the Iowa River Hospice Home with family at her side. A funeral mass will be celebrated in Tomahawk, Wisconsin, at a date to be announced. She will be laid to rest in the Calvary Cemetery next to her husband, in Tomahawk. The Generation Funeral Home is caring for arrangement in Wisconsin and the Mitchell Family Funeral Home is caring for local arrangements. Ph. 641-844-1234. Born Annette Alice Patrick on November 3rd, 1923, in Rib Lake, Taylor County, Wisconsin, she was the youngest of six children born to Walter and Katherine (Laus) Patrick. She graduated from high school and later received her BA degree from college in Milwaukee. On May 21st, 1949, she was united in marriage to James F. Jahnke in Rib Lake. They made their home in different communities until settling in Tomahawk for the 50 years prior to his passing on July 22, 2013, at the age of 91. Pat was employed as a medical tech at the hospital in Tomahawk and was in charge of the lab. She was also involved with owning and operating a bakery in town alongside her husband, James. Mrs. Jahnke was a member of St. Marys Catholic Church in Tomahawk. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Karen (Lou) Luces of Las Cruces, NM; James Fred (Joan) Jahnke of Blythewood, SC and Kathy (Matt) Ankrum of Marshalltown, Iowa, three grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews and a host of friends in Wisconsin and Iowa alike. In death, Pat rejoined her beloved James, her parents and five siblings- Harold, Irene, Catherine, Curtis and Seldon.
