William Madison Ward

Mr. William "Bill" Madison Ward passed away Friday morning, February 3, 2023 at his home in Italy Texas. He was born in Italy Texas on February 23, 1938 to Tom and Anna Bell Ward. Mr. Ward graduated from Italy high school and on December 18, 1970 he married the former Carolyn Osborn at the home of her parents Sid and Ruth Osborn. He was a member of the Cowboy Church Of Ellis County. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed being outdoors and working his cattle.

Bill was proceeded in death by his parents and brother Andy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Carolyn also surviving are in-laws, James Osborne, Randall Osborne, Laura Gay Nelson, Martha Powell.

A special thanks to his caregiver Dianna Porter. She went above and beyond with care and attention during our time of greatest need.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 1-2 P.M. at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Italy.

Graveside services will directly follow at the Italy Cemetery at 2 PM.
