Donald Edward Parker peacefully passed away on February 1, 2023 at Cone Health Alamance Regional Medical Center.  He was born January 9, 1952 to Elton "Tee" Parker and Ida Mebane Parker in Alamance County.  He was a Professional Truck Driver and was known by "Trucking Duck".  He attended Martin's Chapel Baptist Church. 

He was a member of New Comers Motor Cycle Club and loved to ride with his family and friends.  Duck also loved to fly Air Planes. He enjoyed riding his cherished lawnmower and working on the yard. Duck never met a stranger and was a comedian in his own right, however he never received any pay for his appearances.  He will be deeply cherished and missed.  

He leaves loving memories to: his loving and devoted wife of 48 years, Sue Jones Parker; their only daughter: Jennifer Parker Guye and her husband Lorenso James Guye; his pride and joy, his grandson Jaxson Guye; four siblings: Charles Parker (Lynn), Janie White, Ricky Parker and Michael Parker.  Duck is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.  

He now joins his parents "Tee" and Ida and brothers: Fleming Parker and Woody Parker.
