Derrell Kenneth Mobley
<p>Mr. Derrell Kenneth Mobley, 73, died Monday morning (January 30, 2023) at Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL.</p><p><br></p><p>A native of Ware County, Kenny was born February 18, 1949 to the late W. C. Mobley and Vera Lucile Fussell Mobley. Throughout his life, he worked for Hester Mobile Home Movers in delivery, setup and moving of mobile homes. Prior to that, Kenny worked at Bailey Monument sandblasting lettering and designing headstones. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.</p><p><br></p><p>Survivors include one son, Jason Patrick; three brothers, Maurice Mobley (Janice) of Pearson, Paul Wayne Hester (Tammy) of Waresboro, and Jerry Hester (Rachael) of Waycross; three sisters, Betty Ann Cooper of Valdosta, Diann Wilkerson of Willacoochee, and Brenda Hester of Waycross; step-mother, Joyce Hester of Waycross; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.</p><p><br></p><p>A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday (February 2, 2023) at the Music Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Little Utah Cemetery in Axson. Gonna miss you Uncle Kenny. All those Donald Duck talking you always did when i was little to watching wrestling with my brother Ricki as a youngster to eating out and blowing the horn at you when I saw you riding your bike in town. Love you.
