Michael A. Balog, Jr., age 77, of Jarrettsville, Maryland passed away on January 27, 2023 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Michael Balog, Sr. and Viola (Wisniski) Balog. He was a veteran of the District of Columbia Army National Guard and was retired from CCG Facilities Integration, Inc. where he worked as a Senior Electrical Project Manager. He was a member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church and enjoyed being part of elementary school STEM activities and supporting science fairs. He was active in the Scouting community for many years and mentored many Harford Area Council Eagle Scout projects. Mike also enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Michael is survived by his wife of 54 years, Mary Ann (Frazier) Balog; daughter, Laura (Mark) Cibulsky; son, Michael A. Balog, III (Chelsea O'Rourke); grandchildren, Brian, Luke & Grant Cibulsky, Melanie, Clayton & Valerie Balog; and brother, Richard Balog.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Joseph Balog.
