Sheila Long Gordon, 79, passed away on January 25, 2023. She was born on July 23,1943, in Knox County to Robert and Lucille Long.

She was a member of Clear Springs Baptist Church in the Gibbs Community. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, and sister.

She attended Gibbs, Morristown High School, and Carson Newman College.

Shelia was loved by everyone that knew her and had many friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Robert and Lucille Long.

She is survived by her sister, Carolyn Edwards; daughter, Stephanie Rednour; granddaughter, Dusty Vaughn and her husband Travis; grandson, Josh Schaeffer; great granddaughter, Jaylin Love; great grandsons, Connor Austin and Dylan Boruff; and is also survived by her special friend, Diane Pack as well as a host of nieces and nephews. 

The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM, Tuesday, January 31, 2023, in the East Chapel of Allen Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 7PM.  Private interment will be held in Historic Bethesda Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Allen Funeral Home in Morristown TN.
