Cameron Drake Foster, age 30, of McCook, NE passed away following the gift of organ donation on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE.

Cameron was born on February 25, 1992 in McCook to parents Todd and Dawn (Hess) Foster. He was one of two boys who also attended school in McCook, graduating from McCook High School with the Class of 2010. While in high school, Cameron was active in tennis and golf. 

Cameron was a member of the Memorial United Methodist Church in McCook.  In September 2015, Cameron married Jayme (Peterson) Foster. He became a step father to four children and together with Jayme, Cameron had two daughters, Qwynn and Evlyn.  Cameron ran a successful monument cleaning business and consistent with his good nature, would often clean headstones free of charge. 

Cameron was a budding artist who loved art and music, especially attending concerts at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Denver, CO.  He enjoyed playing a round of golf and participating in tournaments with his dad and brother, taking long country drives, floating down the river, spending time in the great outdoors and dancing with his daughters.  Cameron’s two favorite quotes were “happy to be here” and “good vibes”. 

Cameron was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jim Hess and Lee Robinson.

Those left to celebrate his life include; daughters, Qwynn and Evlyn Foster; parents, Todd and Dawn Foster of McCook; brother, Kendell Foster and girlfriend, Chelsey Williams, both of McCook; grandparents, Ken and Marlene Foster of McCook, Beverly Robinson of Hartland, WI and Gary and Mary Weldon of Little Sioux, IA; his former spouse, Jayme Foster, step son Beckett Johnson, and step daughters, Aspyn, Rhilynn and Atissyn Bales, all of McCook; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, close friends and extended family members.
