<p>Thomas J. Mahony (Tom) died peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the age of 79.&nbsp; </p><p>Tom was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on September 5,1943. He served in the United States Air Force. He came to Brevard County from Wisconsin in 1975. He worked for the Brevard County Sheriff’s office for 17 years. Tom loved animals and his avid love of horses was a lifelong hobby.&nbsp; </p><p>He will be remembered for being a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and lifelong friend. He will forever be our Dad, Pops, Papa &amp; Grandpa. We miss him dearly.&nbsp; </p><p>Tom is survived by his sons Thomas (Danielle) Mahony, Ronald Mahony, Brian (Lisa) Mahony, Ryan (Brianne) Mahony, his daughter Kelly (Scott) Clay and his nine grandchildren Triston, Colleen, Molly, Kendall, Matthew, Tyler, Paelyn, Chase and Tinsley. </p><p>Graveside services with military honors will be held Tuesday, January 31 at 2:30PM in Cape Canaveral National Cemetery.&nbsp; </p>

Thomas J. Mahony (Tom) died peacefully on Sunday, January 15, 2023 at the age of 79. 

Tom was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin on September 5,1943. He served in the United States Air Force. He came to Brevard County from Wisconsin in 1975. He worked for the Brevard County Sheriff’s office for 17 years. Tom loved animals and his avid love of horses was a lifelong hobby. 

He will be remembered for being a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle and lifelong friend. He will forever be our Dad, Pops, Papa & Grandpa. We miss him dearly.
