Diane Elaine Pasek

Diane Elaine Pasek was born January 7, 1937 in Gary, Indiana to Frank and Mary (nee Hajduga) Blaker. She died peacefully at her home on January 21, 2023, surrounded by family.

Diane was a proud graduate of St. Mary of Nazareth School of Nursing. She put her career on hold to raise four children and returned to her profession after thirty years. Diane enjoyed spending summers at the family's farm in Door County, Wisconsin with local friends, as well as welcomed guests.

Diane is survived by her children Natalie (Richard) Giacomino, John Pasek and Paul (Samantha) Pasek; her grandchildren Nicholas (Megan) and Stephanie Giacomino, Florian and Walter Pasek; her great grandchildren Owen and Madeline Giacomino.

She is preceded in death by her husband Florian J. Pasek Sr.; her son Florian J. Pasek Jr.; siblings June (late Frank) Manista, Marian (Richard) Czajka and by her parents.

Visitation Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of Mass at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 440 S. Mitchell Avenue, Arlington Heights. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
