Walter P Allspach Obituary

Walter P. Allspach Jr. died Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ. He was 77.



Walter was born in Morristown, NJ on August 22, 1945, a son to the late Alice Mary (Idukaitis) and Walter Allspach. He lived in Millington and then moved to Warren in 1976.



He graduated from Watchung Hills Regional High School with the class of 1964, and studied at Pratt Institute for 2 years. Walt apprenticed and later became a journeyman with Local 581 Electrical Union in Morristown. He retired from Local 102 in Parsippany, NJ.



He was a member of the Passaic Township Jaycees. He enjoyed time with his grandchildren and doing home improvements with his wife, Jeanne.



Walt was predeceased by his parents and his sister Mary Alice Allspach.


He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanne (Leary) Allspach, his son Justin Allspach, his daughter Erika and her husband Frank C. McCann, and his four cherished grandchildren, Allison, Shannon, Frank J. and Matthew McCann.



Visitation will be Friday, January 27, 2023 from 5-8 pm at the Valley Memorial Funeral Home, 1012 Valley Rd., Gillette, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 10 am at St. Vincent de Paul Parish. A private interment service will be held at a later date.
