<p>Lori Dawn Nordal&nbsp;&nbsp; 07/29/1959 - 01/09/2023 (age 63) </p><p>On January 9th, 2023, at 10:18AM PST in her bed, Lori Dawn Nordal was called to heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Yeshua. This ended a 9th month illness caused by a compromised immune system allowing a rapid spread of cancer. Born in Hinsdale, Illinois 07/29/1959, she was 63 when she was promoted into eternity. She was very recently preceded into heaven by her mother Natalie Potter on October 28, 2022. &nbsp;She leaves behind her husband Craig A. Nordal, two sisters Amy and Wendy, three daughters Mychal, MacKenzie, and Meghan, and two stepdaughters Kelsey and Kristen. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren including Noah Riley who lived with her. Lori was filled with the Holy Spirit and loved the Lord and was a bright light to everyone she met. </p><p>Moving to San Diego County with her parents in 1966 from their home in Downers Grove, Illinois, she attended Lemon Avenue Elementary School, Spring Valley Junior High, and Grossmont high school. Lori was anointed by the Holy Spirit at an early age and loved the Lord as long as she lived. She took great joy in being a cheerleader and being an assistant with the varsity baseball team and graduated high school in 1977. &nbsp;In 1978 she was crowned Miss La Mesa and competed and was one of the runners up in the Del Mar Fairest of the Fair Beauty Contest. Lori was a loving mother, grandmother, "Ranny”, sister, wife and friend. She worked for The Word For Today in Orange County in her early 20's and attended Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Moving back to San Diego County to live, in 2005 she met her husband to be Craig A. Nordal and in 2009 they were married.&nbsp; She worked for Caterpillar and spent 14 years with Kaiser in customer care. She was a regular attendee with her husband Craig and grandson Noah at Maranatha Chapel in 4S Ranch for over 21 years in San Diego. Lori was a true disciple of Yeshua, sharing her testimony and faith with everyone she would meet. Lori Dawn Nordal lived a life of service to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. </p><p>Lori will be buried in front of family only on February 3, 2023, at the San Jacinto Valley Cemetery at 2PM. </p><p>A Celebration of Life is coming at the home of Craig and Lori Nordal in Valley Center with time and date to be announced. </p>
