Woodrich, Herbert Howard, age 95, longtime resident of Fenton, passed away on January 21, 2023.  A funeral will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Sharp Funeral Home located at 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, Michigan.  Visitation will be from 12:00 PM Saturday until the time of service.  Inurnment, with Military Honors, will take place at 10:00 AM Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.  Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Mr. Woodrich to the Breast Cancer Foundation (www.komen.org) or the National Kidney Foundation (www.kidney,org).

He is survived by his children, Paul (Peggy) Woodrich of Ewing, KY; Deborah (Chris) Harwell of Flint; Diane (Robert) Gale of Swartz Creek and Donna Woodrich of Fenton.  Six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and brother-in-law, Walter Murdock; daughter-in-law Vicki Woodrich of NC.  Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Herbert was born on December 14, 1927 in Flint, Michigan to the late Herbert Frank and Henrietta (Spencer) Woodrich.  He graduated from Flint Northern High School and served our country with the 11th Airborne Division of the United States Army.  Herbert retired from Buick Motor Division.  He loved his family, enjoyed golfing, good friends, funny jokes and never let computers get the best of him.

Mr.Woodrich was preceded in death by his parents; wife and light of his life, Gloria and beloved sister, Donna Jean Murdock.
