<p>Olive Louise (Sheardown) Metcalfe of Harriston passed away at Caressant Care, Harriston on Monday, January 23, 2023 in her 92nd year. </p><p><br></p><p>Wife of the late Lorne Metcalfe, and mother of Carol Ortelli and her husband Malcolm of Espanola, and Wallace Metcalfe and his wife Luce of Laverochere, Quebec.</p><p><br></p><p>Grandmother of Katrina and Ryan Telfer, Sabrina Metcalfe and Maxime Lacroix, and Jessie Metcalfe and Alex Laniel, and great-grandmother of Benjamin, Emerson, Vincent, and Keeva Telfer, and Emile Laniel. Sister of Shirley Sheardown, Walter and Grace Sheardown, and Helen Connell, and sister-in-law of Allan Metcalfe, Edgar Metcalfe, Don and Diane Metcalfe, and Mary Sheardown.</p><p><br></p><p>Predeceased by brothers Jim Sheardown and his wife Connie, and Hugh Sheardown, and by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Ruth Metcalfe, Hilda Metcalfe, Jim Connell, Murray Jelly, and Earl and Beth Metcalfe, and by her parents Hugh and Mabel Sheardown. </p><p><br></p><p>Olive was a very active member of the community, being a member of the Harriston United Church, Harriston Horticultural Society, Agricultural Society of Harriston-Minto.</p><p><br></p><p>The funeral service will be held at Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Sunday, January 29 at 2:30 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service. The service will be live streamed.</p><p><br></p><p>Click here to view service.</p><p><br></p><p>Interment in Harriston Cemetery. </p><p><br></p><p>Memorial donations to Harriston Horticultural Society would be appreciated. </p><p><br></p><p><br></p>
