Susan (Sue) was born August 7, 1961 in Camden, Maine to Harry C. Fish Jr. and Margaret J. (DeChane) Fish. On January 23, 2023 Susan joined her many loved ones in heaven after a courageous battle with cancer.

Sue lived in Camden, ME for the first 8 months of her life and spent almost the rest of her life in the town she loved most, Falmouth. Sue was a graduate of the Cosmetology program at Upper Cape Cod Regional Vocational Technical School in 1979 and started her first job at Stone’s Beauty Shop in Falmouth, then at Hair Reflections in Falmouth. She worked at many places in her town throughout the years including Falmouth Nursing Home and Paul’s Pizza.

Sue had a kind heart and was always a caregiver, offering haircuts, meals and just spending time with people to converse. She worked later in life for Community Systems, Inc. helping people with disabilities, which was the job she loved most. Sue loved Falmouth and so many in her community. You could often find her at local restaurants telling stories to friends and family of days gone by.

Sue will be dearly missed by everyone who knew her, especially her children Rebecca Chadwick (Andrew) of Buxton, ME and Kreag Wilson (Samantha) of Queen Creek, AZ. Sue was adored by her grandchildren Kayden Chadwick, Karli Chadwick, Landon Wilson and Brynnlea Wilson. Sue leaves behind many siblings including her brother Peter Gonyer and her sisters Shirley Fish, Holly Nightingale (Rob), Jeanne Cliff (Keith), Shari Fish (Hank) and Jo-Anne Ferguson. She also leaves behind her boyfriend Michael Kidwell, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sue was predeceased by her mother Margaret J. (DeChane) Fish, father Harry C. Fish, Jr., brothers Stephen M. Fish and Harry C Fish III, and her nephew Jacob Fish.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, January 27th from 4-7 PM at Chapman Funerals & Cremations, 475 Main Street, Falmouth. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, January 28th at 11 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Jones Road, Falmouth.

The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for the care given to her by Mike, Dana Farber, Davenport-Mugar Cancer Center, Hospice of Cape Cod and McCarthy Care Center.
