Arlene Ruth Engbers went home to her heavenly Father on Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at the age of 93. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on December 29, 1929, to the late Benjamin and Artie (Schultze) Engbers. She moved to Kalamazoo after grade school and graduated from Kalamazoo Christian High School. Arlene worked in the office at Mastercraft and retired from there. In her retirement years she worked in the bakery at Hardings. She was a longtime member of Third Christian Reformed Church, was a sports enthusiast and loved spending time with her family.

Arlene is survived by two sisters, Annabelle Engbers and Rosemary Swets; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Warren Engbers, Bernard Engbers, Abigail Onderlinde, Russell Engbers, and Jocilyn Warren.

A graveside service will be held Friday, January 27, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Mount Ever-Rest Memorial Park South Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Park Village Pines or Centrica Care Navigators in memory of Arlene.
