Wanda Faye Bell Obituary

Sister Wanda Faye Bell was 68, and departed this life Wednesday January 11, in Florence County. She was the mother of Natasha Bell-Walker, Ashley Bell and Sukeya Bell.

Memorial services are scheduled to be held at the Jackson & McGill Memorial Chapel on Friday January 27, at 2:00 pm. 

The Obituary


He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.

Mrs. Wanda F. Bell was called to enteral rest on Wednesday 11, 2023; surrounded by her family. Wanda was born to the late Dorothy F. Cooper on July 21,1954.  She was raised by the late Lonnie and Virginia J. Foxworth; (grandparents) of Marion SC. 

 

Wanda was a 1972 graduate of Marion High School. She later continued her education at Florence - Darlington Technical College.

Wanda was employed at Hanes L’Eggs  Sportswear, AllCare Givers, and Marion County DDSN Board  until she retired.

 Wanda was married to the late Anesl L. Bell of Rains, SC. During this union three beautiful daughters were born and 4 children were raised in the home: Sukeya N. Bell, Shammikki L. Bell (deceased) and Ashley M. Bell of Marion SC and Natasha D. Bell-Walker (Reginald) of Charlotte NC. Wanda also had the privilege of sharing her love with Erica (daughter)(Dalton )Bramwell  of (Newwark). 

Wanda leaves behind to cherish her loving memories, daughters: Natasha Bell-Walker (Reginald), Sukeya N. Bell, and Ashley M. Bell; one granddaughter: Syriah S. Crawford; sisters: Kathy (Amos) Emmanuel, Crystal (Gerald) Evans, Linda S. Samuels and a host of nieces, nephews and family members. 

She leaves to cherish fond memories for several family members and friends; Valarie Williams (cousin), Almeta Mullins (sister in-law), Deborah Woodberry, Author Lee Godbolt, Virginia Miles, Emma Harrison, Mary Mack and Joan Abram.

Wanda enjoyed reading, working with the elderly, the mountain scenery, spending time outdoors and flowers (sunflowers). Wanda was a kind, and loving person who didn’t bite her tongue for anyone.  

She would say the funniest things, once you had time to sit and think about what was said, it spoke volumes. 

Wanda had one child and a sibling to preceded her in death: Shammikki Lynne Bell and Dawayne Cooper.
