In profound sorrow, we join the Delamar Family in announcing the death of Charles James Delamar, 77, of the River Bend Community, New Bern, who departed this life on Friday, January 20, 2023.

The Service Celebrating A Life Well Lived for Charles James Delamar with military honors will be held on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 12:00 Noon from within the Sanctuary of the Rivers-Morgan Funeral Home, Inc. and Cremations Memorial Chapel, 701 West St., New Bern. Honoring his request and by his being a merchant Seaman in the Navy for over 30 Years, his cremains will be scatter over the Ocean at a later date.
