<p>Thomas (Tom) Glass of Rutland, VT, age 66, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023. He was born in Manhattan, NY, January 18, 1957, son of Thomas and the late Kathleen Glass.</p><p>Tom is survived by his son Ryan Glass, father Thomas J. and step-mother Linda Glass of New York, a sister Suzzanne Smith, a niece Tierra Covey, a great nephew Owen Loughan and a great niece Brooklyn Peer all of VT. His companion and love of his life Alice Welch and her grandson Mark along with her other family members Angela, Nickolas, and Mckayla. Tom was preceded in death by his mother Kathleen Ann (Roberts) Glass, and nephew Danill Peer.</p><p>Everyone who knew Tom felt his big heart and giving nature. He was a grateful member of Alcoholic Anonymous and always willing to support those in need. He was a huge fan of NASCAR especially Dale Earnhardt, Jr., the Boston Red Sox, sitting in the sun and good food.</p><p>A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at the Grace Congregational Church, 8 Court Street, Rutland, VT in the spring. We will have a time for sharing, fellowship and of course food.</p>
