Ashley Nicole Ann Ward, 27, born on October 31, 1995, was unexpectedly called to her heavenly home on Thursday, January 19, 2023. She was the daughter of Brenda Ward and Wayne Lyles.

Ashley had many friends as she was a kindhearted, loving and giving person. Her children and being a mother was her universe. She enjoyed watching WWE wrestling and was a diehard Baltimore Ravens fan. Summer was her favorite season as she enjoyed swimming and family cookouts.

Ashley leaves to cherish her memory her: parents, Brenda Ward and Wayne Lyles (Jennifer); two young children, Genesis and Lemeir Ward; grandmother, Ola Thompson; three sisters, Tia Harrison, Nikki Horner, and Shauna Lyles; two brothers, Larnell Lyles, and Trey Harrison; fiancée, Jay; godparents, Elton Morgan and Mary Browning; god sisters, Felicia Kattes (Bubby Dorsey) and Tania Cook; god brothers, Malcolm Kattes (Pam Koza) and Greggory Kattes (Katrina Cook); special aunts, Debbie Woodyard and Evelyn Thompson; uncle, Robbie; special friends, Jen Swain and family, Buck Norteus, and Amanda Mercer (Twin); and a host of family and friends.

Ashley was preceded in death by her: maternal grandparents, Jesse and Patricia Ward; maternal great grandmother, Dorthy Wentzel; paternal uncles, Davis Woodyard and Ty Brooks; and a special man she called "pappy", Charles M. Stine.

Although taken way too soon, we know Ashley is now our guardian angel.
