Mable Martin of Nichols passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. 

Mable loved the Lord and in 1993 answered the call to join Bethel Word Ministries. She was among the original Bethel Word Ministries members where she remained dedicated for 29 yrs. under the leadership of the late Apostle Vivian Troy with whom she loved dearly. Left to celebrate her life are her children Wendell R. Hickman, and daughters Johnnie Anita Michelle Johnson and Lanette "Lennie" Thelenna Yvette Battle. Her 10 grandchildren Wendell Davis (Qiana), Derrol Hickman, Lauren Hickman, Nickita Loussaint, Hasina Lewis, Keaira Lewis, Dynasty Johnson, Lexus Reaves and Mikko Pervis. 19 Great grandchildren Khyrei, Khalani, Kennedy, Preston, Paislyn, Kamron, Jimmie, Kanen, Nahkei, Saheid, Keyshawn, Brandon, Elijah, Quadreese, Kelyse, Paris, Chance, Taylor, Briana, Lyric, Miracle, and Caiden. Mable was predeceased by her beloved son, Jimmy L. Lewis, granddaughter Tashima Ford, her parents, and her siblings Orean, James, Robert, Leola, Clarence, Willie, Coolidge, Unknown Twin, Theresa, Beatrice, Betty Jean, Ann, and Joe. In the authority of His word and the power of His love there are no goodbyes for us. We know you stayed as long as you could. Even in our grief and sorrow you will forever be in our hearts. We rejoice in the Lord knowing you are wrapped in his eternal arms. Well done mommie... well done. Thank you for always loving us. Truly, Truly, I say to you, you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice. You will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will turn to joy. John 16:20-22

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Bethel Word Ministry Church in Mullins. Ocean View Funeral Home and Beach Crematory, Conway Chapel.
