<p>Linda K. Morris 76, of Decatur, IL passed away at 1:16 a.m., Tuesday, January 24, 2023, in her residence.</p><p><br></p><p>A graveside service to honor Linda’s life will be held at 12:00 Noon, Friday, January 27, 2023, in the Mt. Zion Township Cemetery, Mt. Zion, IL. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion is assisting the family with services. Memorials may be made in Linda’s memory c/o Macon County Animal Control and Care Center, 2820 E. Parkway, Decatur, IL 62526.</p><p><br></p><p>Linda was born October 28, 1946, in Decatur, IL the daughter of Eugene and Cleta (McElroy) Long. She was raised in childhood by her loving Aunt and Uncle Orie and Helen Long. Linda married Charles C. Morris Jr. on March 30, 1972. She had retired from Norfolk and Southern Railroad having been a Chief Clerk. Linda loved to do crafting and enjoyed refurbishing furniture. She also enjoyed gardening and raising flowers. Her passion was animals especially dogs. She would help at many of the area shelters and had rescued many dogs during her lifetime. Her other passion was spoiling her grandchildren.</p><p><br></p><p>Surviving is her husband Charles Jr. of Decatur; daughter: Michelle Copass of Decatur; son: Charlie Morris (Chelsey) of Forsyth, IL; grandchildren: Kendryk Morris, Kylie Morris, Kinsley Morris, and Charley Mae Morris.</p><p><br></p><p>Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her brother: Steven McElroy.</p><p><br></p>October 28, 1946 - January 24, 202310/28/194601/24/2023
