James emigrated from Ireland to New York in 1986 and owned a horse and carriage company until 2000.

The Funeral Service to Celebrate his life will be held 4:15pm on Friday, January 27, 2023 at Clair S. Bartholomew & Son, Inc., 302 So. Bedford Ave., Bellmore, NY with Rev. Jeff Yildirmaz officiating.
