<p>January 23, 2023, age 78. Beloved husband of Lynn (nee Anderson). Dear father of Lisa (Rev. Ryan) Rupe, Jeffrey (Tracey) Leider and Erick Leider. Grandfather of Kyle, Ella, Michael, Brianna, Madelyn and Connor. Brother of Sandra (Ray) Johnson. Further loved by other relatives and friends.<br></p><p><br></p><p>Visitation Thursday, January 26th at the Harder Funeral Home from 4:00 – 7:00 pm and also on Friday January 27th at PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, W240 N6145 Maple Avenue, Sussex from 10:00 am until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Interment Wisconsin Memorial Park. The service will be live streamed on the Peace Lutheran Church and Academy channel on YouTube. It will also be posted to that site for later viewing.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>Jon was a retired Army Chaplain.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>Memorial to the church, Lutheran Hour Ministries or American Legion Post 449, Brookfield.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p>

My heartfelt condolences. I have fond memories of working with Jon when he was a Chaplain in the 84th Division (Training). He was truly a man of God. May God bless and keep him.
