Cameron Gabriel Obituary

Cameron Gabriel, age 48, died on July 25th, 2021. He was the victim of a

deadly shooting in his home in Rocklin, California, where he resided.

Cameron Gabriel Titus was born six minutes behind his twin sister India at

Stanford Hospital in California on June 23, 1973.

Friends and family quipped that he was a little gentleman, having invited

his sister to make her presentation first.

Cameron grew up in Sunnyvale, California, where he was an altar boy,

played Pop Warner football, water polo and competitive swimming.

Summers were spent in his youth with his sisters and maternal

grandparents touring the states and Canada in an RV. He loved reading

books, playing outside, and having new experiences.

Gentle, kind and funny, Cameron was never known to speak a harsh word

about or to anyone. He was a vegan, drank no alcohol and used no drugs.

He loved music, was a drummer in a band eventually in Ashland, Oregon,

where he resided for twenty years. He spent most of his adult life in

Ashland, Oregon.

Cameron worked in an executive capacity for Harry and David in Medford,

Oregon before moving back to California. He started an online supplement

business and was writing a memoir. Not only was he dedicated and driven

about his career, but Cameron was also passionate about helping kids who

got off on the wrong track. As time permitted, Cameron would go to the

local juvenile hall to share his life story and experiences. His goal was to

inspire these kids and show them that there can be a positive outcome.

Cameron had an energetic personality that would light up the room. He

loved making people laugh and was the type of person that can diffuse the

most difficult situation. He was known for his witty jokes, entertaining

stories, and his Buddhist spiritual beliefs. If a family or a friend needed

help, Cameron would be there any time of the night with a big smile on his

face and a joke to go along with it.

Cameron appreciated life in every form, shape and way. He always saw the

good in people, had a positive personality, and a sense a humor that made

you want to be around him.

He is survived by his mother, Anna Marie, stepfather Ron, both sisters;

India and Fontaine, two nieces; Lauren and China, his grandniece;

Greyson, and his cousin Darren, who was like a brother to him.

He was so happy to be back in his home state of California and had only

resided there for 7 months or so.

Family and friends are desperately sad and grief-filled and thank everyone

for kind words and condolences. May Cameron rest in Heaven peacefully.
