TRACEY JAMES HUTCHISON

1968 – 2019

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tracey James Hutchison on December 21, 2019 at the age of 51, after a hard fought 9-month battle against kidney cancer. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered by his wife, Kathleen; daughters Kyleigh and Emily; parents Jim and Mabel Hutchison; and his extended family and many friends.

Tracey loved life and his enthusiasm was contagious. He looked for and found the positives in any situation, and he embraced and enjoyed everything he undertook. He was recognized for his caring and compassionate nature and his instinct for helping, coaching and encouraging others. Tracey touched countless lives. From his coworkers, to sports teams he coached, to his many family members, and even people with whom he had chance encounters, he made a significant impact. His passion for living included a love of travel and he took advantage of any opportunity to see the world with his family and friends. He was also well known for his love of fast cars and good scotch.

The family will receive friends at the Humphrey Funeral Home A.W. Miles – Newbigging Chapel, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville) from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 29th. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on December 30th in Holy Rosary Church, 354 St. Clair Avenue West, Toronto.
