Suzanna Berton Obituary

SUZANNA BERTON (nee Mangliar)

December 8, 1937 to September 7, 2016

Passed peacefully after living with Parkinson’s for many years.  Suzy leaves behind her loving husband of 60 years, John, son John and his wife Kelley McKinnon, and daughter Christina, along with the grandchildren who delighted her always, Meghan and Matthew.  Suzy was born in Hungary, and came to Canada in 1956.  Her greatest joys were her children and grandchildren, and her numerous trips abroad with her husband.  She lived life to the fullest and did things her way.  With determination and grace, she found ways to joke and smile with family, friends and caregivers, notwithstanding her illness.  Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Movement Disorder Clinic of Toronto Western Hospital, Belmont House and her personal caregivers.  A service to celebrate Suzy’s life will be held at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at 1:30 p.m.  If desired, donations may be made to the Movement Disorder Centre of the Toronto Western Hospital or Belmont House.  Condolences, photographs and memories may be forwarded through www.humphreymilesnewbigging.com.

Rest in peace, which you so greatly deserve. You will be greatly missed.
